ABOUT OUR PEOPLE (could you be one of us?)
We Are:

Mostly between the ages of 25 and 55, but we have lots of senior members (a lot of them still tear up the slopes!).

A mix of single folks, partnered and married, divorced, parents and non-parents, and empty-nesters.

A Welcoming, Diverse mix of humanity from different backgrounds! We represent many nations and speak a few languages. We have straight folks, gay folks, queer folks. We want all to feel comfortable here.

We pride ourselves on welcoming new members! We want to get to know you!

Most members live in the Chicago area and a few live out of state.

We have skiers and snowboarders at all levels: front-side groomer folks, racers, mogul monsters, cruisers, terrain park masters, and raw beginners. Want to improve? We can help.

If you have never been on the snow before, we will be honored to guide you though this amazing experience.

There are many benefits of joining Chicago's Oldest, (murky origins), and Ever-Stalwart (as a pine), ski and snowboard club! Get in on group ski / snowboard trip discounts to top destinations - and SOMEONE ELSE ORGANIZES EVERYTHING FOR YOU! Seriously. You spend what you'd spend if you booked it yourself but our volunteer trip leaders do all the planning and booking for air, hotel, ground transportation, gatherings, lift tickets. You Just Pay And Meet Us At The Airport! Pay for trips with easy installments! ENJOY year-round activities with delightful people who also love Talking About Ski & Snowboard Stuff In Summer! We have skiers, snowboarders, (and weirdos who do both), backcountry skiers... lots of folks to learn from. Exclusive social events to PPSC members (dinners, happy hours, etc.). None of your friends ski or snowboard? Those Days Are Over! With so many members of different experience levels, you'll always have a squad on the slopes! MORE MEMBERSIP BENEFITS WITH PINE POINT: Exclusive social events to PPSC members (dinners, happy hours, etc.). Monthly club meeting with pitchers of free beer. 365 days/year professional support & coaching from skiing veterans. Group discount on reasonably priced ski trips. Referral Rewards! Bring two new members on a trip and your next year's membership is free. Complimentary group ski lesson for first time skiers/boarders on a Pine Point Midwestern trip (must be a member and have signed up through Pine Point). Free beer during CMSC racing awards ceremony.

Give them a break - FROM YOU - and come on a trip! We'll listen to you talk about the new hard shell you want to buy, ski widths, bindings and snow quality Forever! (Unlike you-know-who.) To The Long-Suffering Partners of Our Fellow Riders: Send your skiing or snowboarding partner to us! Studies show that if one spouse/partner joins a ski-snowboard club, their better half never has to pretend to listen to them talk about ski stuff again. Better yet, come along and enjoy spas, tours and snowy sightseeing at the resorts.
