ABOUT OUR PEOPLE (could you be one of us?)
We Are:

Mostly between the ages of 25 and 55, but we have lots of senior members (a lot of them still tear up the slopes!).

A mix of single folks, partnered and married, divorced, parents and non-parents, and empty-nesters.

A Welcoming, Diverse mix of humanity from different backgrounds! We represent many nations and speak a few languages. We have straight folks, gay folks, queer folks. We want all to feel comfortable here.

We pride ourselves on welcoming new members! We want to get to know you!

Most members live in the Chicago area and a few live out of state.

We have skiers and snowboarders at all levels: front-side groomer folks, racers, mogul monsters, cruisers, terrain park masters, and raw beginners. Want to improve? We can help.

If you have never been on the snow before, we will be honored to guide you though this amazing experience.

We have skiers, snowboarders, weirdos who do both, backcountry skiers... lots of folks to learn from. Exclusive social events to PPSC members (dinners, happy hours, etc.). None of your friends ski or snowboard? Those Days Are Over! With so many members of different experience levels, you'll always have a squad on the slopes! We'll listen to you talk about gear, ski widths, snowboard bindings and snow depth forever! (Unlike you-know-who.) To the Long-suffering Partner: Send your skiing or snowboarding partner to us! Studies show that if one spouse/partner joins a ski-snowboard club, their better half never has to pretend to listen to them talk about ski stuff again. Better yet, come along and enjoy spas, tours and snowy sightseeing at the resorts.
