COPPER MOUNTAIN SKI AREA! January 30 to February 04, 2025
Copper Ski Resort is a tale of four distinct personalities: a green-friendly west side; a fun blue center; a fast-exciting eastern side; and a topside that is challenging and breathtaking. Couple that with 140 named trails, 2,738 feet of vertical, 2538 acres of terrain, 24 lifts, and cold Colorado powder. Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado certainly has a lot on offer.
In Summit County near Frisco it is about 75 miles from Denver. Come along with Pine Point as we head there this winter.

MOUNTAIN STATS
Base elevation is 9712 feet with the summit at 12,441 feet. They list a longest run at 1.7 miles (Collage) and a longest path down at 2.8 miles (Soliloquy to Roundabout) and classify the terrain at 25% beginner, 24% intermediate, 34% advanced and 17% expert.

LIFT TICKETS
TRIP PRICING IS EXCLUSIVE OF LIFT TICKETS
Copper Mountain is an IKON PASS resort, so if you already have an IKON pass you are all set. Multi-resort passes can save you money when you use it enough. For example, the Pine Point trip to Boyne MI in Feb and our March trip to Mammoth Mountain will allow you to use your IKON pass again, getting more skiing for the same price.
If you are considering an IKON Pass purchase, there is still time. Go to: ikonpass.com/en/shop-passes
If you don’t have IKON, you will need to order your lift tickets and add the following costs to the price of your trip. I encourage you to order online as soon as you sign up for the trip. You will still need to pick up your tickets at the window and sign a waiver once we get there. They offer pass protection in the purchase process. You can't get any refunds, transfers or credits without adding the additional $25 pass protection charge. Like most other resorts lift tickets/passes are now on an RFID card exclusive to that resort. They call theirs the Copper Card and you have to include one when you order.

OPTIONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE

You can see and compare insurance companies at www.squaremouth.com

I encourage ALL travelers to get trip insurance. Even if they think they are healthy, one never knows and there have been too many instances of people losing money when airlines cancelled flights, someone got hurt on the slopes or there was an emergency at home. You just never know!

See you on the SNOW!
