Bike Ride Fox River Trail - Bartlett to East Dundee

Description:

We will be riding 11 miles along the scenic Fox River Trail with a stop for lunch In East Dundee. After lunch we will ride the same trail back to the starting point. Total distance 22 miles.

Starting point: James Pate Philip State Park, 2050 Stearns Road, Bartlett. IL 60103. As you enter the state park take the first left and go to the end of the lot. The bike trail starts there.

 

Time: Please arrive at 10:00 AM. We we depart at 10:30 AM. 

 

Lunch: Bandito Barney's, East Dundee in their beer garden. They have a variety of sandwiches , burgers, and salads. They also have several specialty beers on tap. See the attached link to view their menu.

Notes: 

- This is a paved trail.
-Bring money for lunch
-Fill tires before you arrive
-Bring charged phone & input the leader’s phone number.
-Wear a helmet
-Bring plenty of water when it’s hot
