Watch the Chicago Air and Water Show (Air parts only) from a lovely, private rooftop with club members! You can see most of the air acts from the roof, including the US Navy's Blue Angels F/18 jets.

About Host: I'm a new Pine Point Ski Club member. I went on last season's Winter Park and Big Sky trips.

Rain date Sun. Aug. 11, same hours.

I live on the 4th floor and there isn't an elevator. My rooftop terrace is above my unit, on the 5TH Floor. There are 52 stairs with landings along the way.

 

LOCATION:
Exact location will be given to confirmed participants one week beforehand. This is a ski club member's private rooftop terrace in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. One block east and north of Broadway and Foster. Building is on N Winthrop one block north and east from the temporary CTA Red Line Argyle stop, which is on W Foster between N Broadway and N Winthrop.

 

REFRESHMENTS:
This event is a POTLUCK and will be organized two weeks before the event.

 

Amenities and Environment:
I have a full wet bar on my rooftop terrace, drinking water, commercial ice machine (no need to bring bags of ice upstairs), plenty of seating, tables, a big umbrella for shade. Restroom to use is in my condo, one floor below. It's going to be very hot up there. Bring sunscreen and dress accordingly. If you overheat, you can cool off in my air-conditioned living room.
