Early Foliage Trip: Camping, Hiking and Kayaking in Michigan
Details,

Welcome aboard!

This weekend is going to be a great opportunity to catch the very last camping trip of the season and witness the life cycle of trees as they change their verdant summer canopy into a crazy fall colors. And! we might just get in time to witness this nature phenomenon: https://www.americanforests.org/fall-foliage-map/
This campsite gem is located only one and half an hour from Chicago. Situated in the semi-wooded area, nested in a close proximity to hiking trails, rivers, and biking tails. The nighttime is perfect for stargazing!
There is an abundance of places in the area to explore, as the site is located 13 miles from downtown St. Joseph and 13 miles from downtown South Haven. It's conveniently close to the SW Michigan Makers’ Trail (Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries: https://makerstrail.org/) and about 4 miles from a small beach (Hagar Park/Beach) on Lake Michigan (not counting big beaches at St. Joseph and South Haven).
